Enrollment and Registration
Enrollment vs. Registration
All new students must first enroll in the Plymouth School District. They then can register for the current or (in August) coming school year.
Enrollment
Welcome to the Plymouth WI School District! We are honored that you have trusted us with your child's education, and we look forward to helping your child become his or her best.
How to enroll
• Families with an EXISTING Plymouth Skyward account
If you already have a Skyward Family Access account with the Plymouth School District (from an older child), log in to Skyward Family Access and select "New Student Online Enrollment" from the left-hand menu. (see image)

1. Begin by requesting enrollment access.
2. You should receive an email with your login information and a temporary password. (If you do not have an email address, check that box and a temporary password will pop up.)
3. Go to the Skyward Family Access login screen and change the Login Area to "Enrollment Access." (see image)
4. Set your enrollment password, and select "New Student Online Enrollment" from the left-hand menu.
5. Work through the enrollment steps.
Once enrollment is approved (and, at Plymouth High School only, you have met with a counselor), you will receive a confirmation email and then can register for the current school year.

Families also can enroll in the Plymouth School District office, located on the south end of Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave. The office is open from 7:30am to 4:30pm school days. Park in the visitor lot in front of the school and enter Door 18.
Please bring the following with you:
• Child's birth certificate (if possible)
• Parent/guardian driver's license or other state ID with your current address as proof of residency
PLEASE NOTE: Once you enroll one time in the district, you then need to register each year (see below).
Questions?
Please contact the District Office at pjsdenrollment@plymouth.k12.wi.us or (920) 892-2661 Ext. 1007.
4K Enrollment
Children who will be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 are eligible for 4K, which features play-based learning in a classroom setting.
Please enroll as soon as possible, as staffing levels are being finalized for the 2026-27 school year. Every effort will be made to provide placement information (i.e. school location) by June 1 to families who have enrolled by May 1. Enrollments will be accepted through the summer, though there will be less flexibility for placement after May 1.
To enroll a child in 4K:
- Families that already have a Skyward Family Access account with the Plymouth School District (i.e. for an older child) should log into Skyward Family Access and select "New Student Enrollment."
- Families new to the district should begin by requesting enrollment access. Additional instructions can be found at the top of our Enrollment & Registration webpage.
- Families without access to the internet should contact the District Office at (920) 892-2661 Ext. 1007 or visit the office between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays (enter Door 18 on the south end of Plymouth High School). You will need your driver’s license or other state-issued ID to enter before 2:30 p.m.
Contact the District Office at pjsdenrollment@plymouth.k12.wi.us or 920-892-2661 Ext. 1007 with any questions.
New 4K options for 2026-27
We are excited to announce two new 4K options for the 2026-27 school year, both of which received favorable feedback during the Enrollment Solutions meetings we held in the fall.
4K is offered free of charge to families, other than a registration fee due in August (typically around $40).
Note: We will be contacting families already enrolled to discuss the new options.
Full-day 4K
Classes will meet five days a week from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., the same as other elementary students, with a class at Horizon and a class Parkview.
Advantages of full-day 4K include:
- Enhanced emphasis on academics, particularly literacy
- Additional fine-arts programming for 4K students
- Reduced reliance on childcare for families
- No mid-day transportation costs for the district
We will continue to offer a half-day option, which will meet in the mornings, when the academic work will take place. Families will be responsible for pickup, as there will be no mid-day busing.
On-site child care, operated by Community Education & Recreation, will be available 6-8:45am and 3:45-6pm on school days, as well as 6am-6pm on most no-school days, including summer break.
Nature-based Montessori program
This new option will be offered as a 4K Community Approach program in partnership with Plymouth Forest Montessori, which was launched in the 2025-26 school year by former Riverview art teacher Rachel Blessing, a DPI-licensed teacher and Wisconsin Master Naturalist who has Montessori 3-6 and Nature-Based Early Childhood Education certification.
The school features:
- Montessori approach, which emphasizes student-led exploration and multi-age interaction
- Place-based learning that focuses on changes in the environment
- Development of people who are compassionate, curious, and environmentally conscious
Classes will meet 8:45am-3:45pm at Camp Anokijig, located north of Plymouth at W5639 Anokijig Lane. Families must provide transportation to and from Camp Anokijig.
On-site child care, operated by Plymouth Forest Montessori, will be available if there is a need. Please reach out to Rachel Blessing at plymouthforestmontessori@gmail.com to discuss wraparound care.
Open Enrollment
Families exploring their options through open enrollment are encouraged to consider the Plymouth School District, which is just the right size to offer personal attention along with a wealth of opportunities!
Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents/guardians of children in 4K through 12th grade to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they reside.
There is no tuition cost to families who opt for open enrollment (though they may be charged the same fees as resident students). However, families are responsible for transportation to and from school.
