Enrollment and Registration

Enrollment vs. Registration

All new students must first enroll in the Plymouth School District. They then can register for the current or (in August) coming school year.

Classes meet Monday through Thursday at Fairview, Horizon, and Parkview elementary schools, with morning 4K from 8:45 a.m. to noon and afternoon 4K from 12:30 to 3:45 p.m. Learn more: Plymouth School District 4K presentation

Open Enrollment

Families exploring their options through open enrollment are encouraged to consider the Plymouth School District, which is just the right size to offer personal attention along with a wealth of opportunities.

Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents of children in kindergarten through 12th grade to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they reside. There is no tuition cost to parents/guardians who opt for open enrollment, though families may be charged the same fees as resident students. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from school.

NOTE: There will be unlimited availability for regular education students to Open Enroll into the Plymouth School District in all grade levels for the 2024-25 school year. It has been determined there is no space available for special education students.

To apply: The state encourages online applications at http://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment. Paper applications are available in the Plymouth School District office.

Those who applied before May 1 to attend our schools must return their Intent to Attend letter to the District Office before registering for the 2024-25 school year.

Registration (4K-12)

Students who have been enrolled then need to register for each subsequent school year in August.

2024-25 Registration

Once enrollment has been completed (see instructions above), you will be able to register your child for the coming school year.

Families who have moved within the district since last year need to provide the District Office with an updated Proof of Residency (parent driver's license, utility bill, etc.) Families that move out of the district after school starts on Sept. 3, 2024 must apply for Open Enrollment.

Registration has two parts, which may be completed in either order.

1. Skyward Family Access

Families should log into Skyward Family Access between Aug. 5 and 18 to register for the 2024-25 school year. Those without access to the Internet can visit a school office, where laptops are available for use in registering.

  1. Open Skyward Family Access.
  2. Log in with your Login ID and Password. (Please contact any school office if you need assistance.)
  3. Click on your child’s name in the drop-down box.
