Staff fitness incentives

The Plymouth School District and Community Ed & Rec are excited to announce two new ways to help you stay well!

These benefits are available to all permanent faculty and support staff, part time and full time, whether or not you get the district-sponsored insurance - essentially any adult eligible for paid sick time.

Discounted fitness classes!

You are eligible for the senior discount - regardless of age - on Community Ed & Rec classes! This includes all fitness and aquatics classes, plus others as designated.

Free Fitness Center membership!

You are eligible for a free membership to the Fitness Center at Plymouth High School! Please note that you will need to register for a membership via MyRec (instructions below).

Bonus: Your spouse (or another adult at your address) and any district retirees can continue to receive a membership at the very discounted price of $75!

Expectations:

• You must have a free staff Fitness Center membership via MyRec, and download your membership bar code (see below).
• You can use the Fitness Center during any hours that it is open to the community (see current hours).
• You can use the Fitness Center during prep times, lunch break, etc., if your schedule allows and you check in with Community Ed & Rec first. Do not lift heavy weights over your head and/or neck when alone.
• You can use the Fitness Center during off hours, if you are with another Fitness Center member, for your safety.

To claim your free membership and/or get the class discount:

1. Create a MyRec account, if you don’t already have one.
2. Email commedrec@plymouth.k12.wi.us from your staff account to ask for a MyRec staff designation. (Note: You will need to go through the entire checkout process; a fee may show initially, but you will not be charged at checkout.)
3. Once we enter the staff designation in the MyRec system, you can register for a free Fitness Center staff membership.
4. If getting a Fitness Center membership, screen shot or print out your membership bar code to scan each visit.

Please request your staff designation by October 31. Note: You will need to renew your Fitness Center membership each school year to reactivate your barcode, but your initial staff designation will stay in the system until you leave the district.
