All Riverview students are strongly encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities!
Fifth and Sixth Grades
• Cooking Club• Cross Country - Students in grades 5-8 represent Riverview in competition with other area schools during the fall sports season.
• FIRST Lego League - Build with Legos and program robots

• Intramural Sports & Activities - This non-competitive program, led by a Riverview physical education teacher, provides students in grades 5-6 with a variety of physical activities to accommodate different levels of skill and interests; multiple sessions offered
• Math Club (sixth only) - Students in grades 6-8 improve their math skills and participate in math competitions.

• Youth Center - The Youth Center, operated by Community Ed & Rec, offers a safe after-school place for registered students in grades 5-8.
Seventh and Eighth Grades
• Boys Basketball - Boys in grades 7-8 represent Riverview in competitions with other area schools during the late fall sports season.• Girls Basketball - Girls in grades 7-8 represent Riverview in competitions with other area schools during the early winter sports season.

• Dance Team - Students in grades 7-8 learn routines and support the Riverview boys basketball team.

• Middle-School Lifting - Students in grades 7-8 learn the basics of athletic-based fitness training and develop speed, explosiveness, agility, strength, & conditioning.
