Girls Soccer

The Panthers have advanced to the 2023 Division 3 State Tournament set for June 15-17 at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee! Plymouth defeated New Berlin Eisenhower Thursday to advance to the title game with Madison Edgewood at 11 a.m. Saturday. Tickets must be ordered online.

Earlier, the 1st-seeded Panthers had a bye for the first round of regionals Tuesday May 30, then defeated 16th-seeded Little Chute 12-0 on June 1 and 9th-seeded Seymour 5-0 on June 3 to become regional champion. Plymouth then defeated 5th-seeded Waupun 2-0 in a sectional June 8, and 2nd-seeded Notre Dame 1-0 June 10 to become sectional champion.

Track & Field

The Panthers sent six events to the 2023 State Tournament held June 2-3 in La Crosse. Competing for the Panthers were:

  • Avery Stiefvater, Hope Southworth, Ava Miller, Ella Ahlstrand: 10th in Girls 4x100-Meter Relay with 57.15
  • Avery Stiefvater, Hope Southworth, Ava Miller, Adella Gritt: Girls 4x200-Meter Relay, 16th in preliminaries
  • Ella Ahlstrand: Girls 100-Meter Dash, 12th in preliminaries; Girls 200-Meter Dash, 13th in preliminaries
  • Wyatt Herzog, Emmitt Huhn, Tate Argall, Aidan Cohn: Boys 4x400-Meter Relay, 12th in preliminaries
  • Andru Miller: Boys 400-Meter Dash, 14th in preliminaries

Earlier, the Panther girls took 10th as a team and the boys 19th at the Division 2 sectionals held May 25 in Little Chute; and the Panther boys were 4th as a team and the girls were 5th at the Division 2 regionals held May 22 in Brillion.

Boys Golf

PHS senior Brady Bleck advanced to the 2023 Division 1 State Boys Golf Tournament held June 5-6 at Blackwolf Run, where he tied for 79th.

Earlier, Brady had tied for 7th and Carter Schmitz tied for 17th at the sectional hosted by the Panthers on May 31 at Quit Qui Oc. The Panthers tied for 5th at the regional hosted by Homestead on May 23.

Boys Tennis

The Panthers sent six athletes to the 2023 State Individual Meet held June 1-3 at Nielsen Stadium in Madison. Competing for the Panthers were:

  • Jaren Baltus: won first match 6-4, 6-1; lost second match 7-5, 6-4
  • Owen Plate: won first match 6-1, 6-2; lost second match 7-5, 6-2
  • Gianni Frausto and Cavin Baltus: lost first match 6-4, 6-3
  • Ryan McEvoy and Gaven Marx: lost first match 6-2, 6-3

Earlier, the Panthers took third as a team at the Division 2 sectionals held May 24 in Kohler and first as a team at the Division 2 subsectionals hosted May 22 by Sheboygan Falls in Kohler.

Baseball

The Panthers lost to New London 5-2 in a Division 2 regional May 25.

Softball

The Panthers lost 6-2 to Kettle Moraine Lutheran in a Division 2 regional May 23.
