Track & Field

The Panthers sent 6 events to the 2023 State Tournament held June 2-3 in La Crosse. Competing for the Panthers were:

• Avery Stiefvater, Hope Southworth, Ava Miller, Ella Ahlstrand: 10th in Girls 4x100-Meter Relay with 57.15
• Avery Stiefvater, Hope Southworth, Ava Miller, Adella Gritt: Girls 4x200-Meter Relay
• Ella Ahlstrand: Girls 100-Meter Dash; Girls 200-Meter Dash
• Wyatt Herzog, Emmitt Huhn, Tate Argall, Aidan Cohn: Boys 4x400-Meter Relay
• Andru Miller: Boys 400-Meter Dash

The Panther girls took 10th as a team and the boys 19th at the Division 2 sectionals held May 25 in Little Chute. Competing for the Panthers were:

• Ella Ahlstrand, Ava Miller, Avery Stiefvater, Hope Southworth: 2nd in Girls 4x100-Meter Relay with 50.50*
• Ella Ahlstrand: 3rd in Girls 100-Meter Dash with 12.51*; 4th in Girls 200-Meter Dash with 26.10*
• Avery Stiefvater, Hope Southworth, Ava Miller, Adella Gritt: 4th in Girls 4x200-Meter Relay with 1:48.19*
• Wyatt Herzog, Emmitt Huhn, Tate Argall, Aidan Cohn: 4th in Boys 4x400-Meter Relay with 3:28.40*
• Andru Miller: 4th in Boys 400-Meter Dash with 51.36*
• Claire Poppe: 5th in Girls 400-Meter Dash with 1:00.02
• Edi Mella: 7th in Boys Discus Throw with 145-00
• Tate Argall, Wyatt Herzog, Edi Mella, Andru Miller: 8th in Boys 4x200-Meter Relay with 1:33.45
• Oliver Sheets: 11th in Boys Discus Throw with 132-10
• Ethan Kohlman: 14th in Boys Shot Put with 43-01.00
• Ryan Koll: 16th in Boys Discus Throw with 116-09
• Tate Argall: in Boys 200-Meter Dash
• Emmitt Huhn: in Boys 800-Meter Run

*Advances to the 2023 State Tournament set for June 2-3 at Veterans Memorial Stadium Complex in La Crosse.

Earlier, the Panther boys were 4th as a team and the girls were 5th at the Division 2 regionals held May 22 in Brillion.

Boys Tennis

The Panthers sent four events to the 2023 State Individual Meet held June 1-3 at Nielsen Stadium in Madison.
Competing for the Panthers were:

• Jaren Baltus: won first match 6-4, 6-1; lost second match 7-5, 6-4
• Owen Plate: won first match 6-1, 6-2; lost second match 7-5, 6-2
• Gianni Frausto and Cavin Baltus: lost first match 6-4, 6-3
• Ryan McEvoy and Gaven Marx: lost first match 6-2, 6-3

Plymouth took third as a team at sectionals held May 24 in Kohler. Competing for the Panthers were:

• Gianni Frausto and Cavin Baltus: 3rd at No. 1 doubles*
• Ryan McEvoy and Gaven Marx: 2nd at No. 2 doubles*
• Jaren Baltus: 2nd at No. 2 singles*
• Owen Plate: at No. 1 singles*
• Braden Neu and Alec Wilderman: 3rd at No. 3 doubles
• Parker Lehn: 3rd at No. 3 singles

Earlier, the Panthers took first as a team at the Division 2 subsectionals hosted May 22 by Sheboygan Falls at the Sports Core in Kohler.

Boys Golf

PHS senior Brady Bleck tied for 7th with a 79 and sophomore Carter Schmitz tied for 17th with an 82 at the Division 1 sectional hosted by the Panthers on May 31 at Quit Qui Oc. Brady won a tiebreaker to advance to the 2023 State Meet set for June 5-6 on the Meadows Course at Blackwolf Run.

Earlier, the Panthers tied for 5th at the Division 1 regional hosted by Homestead on May 23. Competing for the Panthers were:

• Brady Bleck with 82*
• Carter Schmitz with 83*
• Jack Jacquat with 85
• Brennan Helmer with 89
• Tanner Schultz with 94

*Advances to the sectional hosted by Plymouth at 9 a.m. Wednesday May 31 at Quit Qui Oc in Elkhart Lake. The 2023 State Meet will be June 5-6 on the Meadows Course at Blackwolf Run.

Girls Soccer

The 1st-seeded Panthers had a bye for the first round of Division 3 regionals Tuesday May 30, then defeated 16th-seeded Little Chute 12-0 on June 1 and 9th-seeded Seymour 5-0 on June 3 to become regional champion. The Panthers now host 5th-seeded Waupun at 4 p.m. Thursday June 8, with the sectional final Saturday June 10 at Notre Dame. The 2023 State Tournament will be June 15-17 at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.

Baseball

The Panthers lost to New London 5-2 in a Division 2 regional May 25.

Softball

The Panthers lost 6-2 to Kettle Moraine Lutheran in a Division 2 regional May 23.
