Community invited to join PHS Homecoming Parade

School and community groups are invited to enter the 2022 Plymouth High School Homecoming Parade, which has a theme of “Welcome to … Hollywood!”

Cars, floats, and walkers may participate in the parade, set for Friday Sept. 30. Vehicles must move at 5 mph. There is no entry fee, but the Homecoming Parade Entry Form is due by Friday Sept. 23.

Entries will line up on a first-come first-served basis starting at 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 30. The parade will travel through downtown Plymouth beginning promptly at 4:15 p.m. The route will begin near East Main and Caroline streets, head south to Mill Street, east on Mill to North Street, then north back to Main.

Candy, gum, and other items may be handed to children but cannot be thrown. Anyone violating this policy may be escorted off the parade route and given a citation by the City of Plymouth.
