Plymouth FFA sending 5 CDE teams to State

Congratulations to the Plymouth FFA Career Development Events that qualified for State competitions!

The following teams advance to the State CDE Contest on April 24 in Madison after placing well at the Fox Valley Technical College regional contest in March:

  • Veterinary Science: 1st place as a team; Alyssa Schultz 1st place and Estella Sheets 2nd place individually
  • Agronomy: 1st place as a team; Macie Abraham 2nd place individually
  • Dairy Evaluation: 2nd place as a team; Royce Booth 3rd place individually
  • Floriculture: 4th place as a team; Karissa Strausser 1st place individually
  • Poultry Judging: 4th place as a team

In addition, Brandi Short took second place as an individual in Horse Judging.

Career and Leadership Development Events challenge FFA members in grades 7 to 12 to develop critical-thinking skills and effective decision-making skills, foster teamwork, and promote communication while recognizing the value of ethical competition and individual achievement.
