PHS Forensics team headed to State

Congratulations to the members of the Plymouth High School Forensics team who have advanced to state competition!

The following PHS students qualified to compete at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association state competition April 17-18 at UW-Madison:

  • Addi Arnold: Impromptu & Solo Acting Serious
  • Aly Dippel: Poetry
  • Camille Kraemer: Play Acting, Solo Acting Humorous
  • Kimberly Kraemer: Play Acting, Expository Speaking
  • Jordan Bergman: Prose
  • Branden Kramer: Prose
  • Ollie Kramer: Play Acting
  • Ava Schad: Prose
  • Ellie Seifert: Expository Speaking
  • Bryan Bennett: Solo Acting Humorous

In addition, these students – along with Maddi O'Malley and Maizey D'Angelo in play acting – will compete at the Wisconsin Forensic Coaches Association State Tournament on April 11 in Neenah.

The team is coached by PHS library media specialist Megan Hummitzsch and PHS English teacher Amanda Smudde.

Divine Savior Competition on Jan. 31:

  • Camille Kraemer: 3rd in Play Acting

Slinger Competition on Feb. 7:

  • Camille Kraemer: 1st in Duo; 2nd in Play Acting

West Bend Competition on Feb. 14:

  • Maizey D’Angelo & Maddie O’Malley: 6th in Play Acting
