PHS diver wins State title!

Plymouth High School athletic teams are competing in Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament series.

Boys Swim & Dive

Three PHS divers advanced to the Division 2 State Swim & Dive Championships held Feb. 20 at Waukesha South, where Collin Heller became the first diving State Champion in school history with a score of 422.35! In addition, Eli Fuerst took 5th with a score of 308.40, and Blake Andrews finished 7th with a score of 272.50.
Earlier, the Panthers took 7th as a team at the sectional they hosted Feb. 14.

Girls Wrestling

Megan Schuenemann won the 114-pound sectional Feb. 20 at Beaver Dam! She advances to the Girls State Wrestling Individual Tournament set for Feb. 26-28 in Madison.
Earlier, the Panthers won the regional held Feb. 13 at Campbellsport and sent 6 wrestlers to sectionals.

Boys Wrestling

Three PHS wrestlers won their sectional titles and advanced to the Division 2 Boys State Wrestling Individual Tournament set for Feb. 26-28 in Madison:

• Connor Kruse: 1st at 138
• Landen Fick: 1st at 144
• Sawyer Dailey: 1st at 190

Earlier, the Panthers tied for 9th as a team at the sectional held Feb. 14 at Two Rivers.

Girls Basketball

The 5th-seeded Panthers travel to 4th-seeded Luxembourg-Casco at 7 p.m. Friday Feb. 27, with the regional final Saturday Feb. 28. Sectional semifinals are March 5, with the sectional final March 7. The Division 2 State Tournament will be March 13-14 in Green Bay.

Boys Basketball

The 3rd-seeded Panthers have a bye for the first round of regionals Tuesday March 3 and will host either 6th-seeded Luxemburg-Casco or 11th-seeded Green Bay West at 7pm Friday March 6, with the regional final Saturday March 7. Sectionals will be March 12 in Ashwaubenon, with the sectional final March 14. The Division 2 State Tournament will be March 20-21 in Madison.

Boys Hockey

The 5th-seeded Red Raiders Hockey co-op team, which includes 5 varsity players from PHS, defeated the 12th-seeded Manitowoc Lincoln co-op team 9-0 Feb. 17 in the first round of regionals, but lost to 4th-seeded Xavier 5-3 in the regional final Feb. 20.

Girls Hockey

The 4th-seeded Fond du Lac co-op team, which includes 1 player from PHS, lost to the 5th-seeded Xavier co-op team 3-1 in the regional final Feb. 19.
