Why choose Plymouth Schools?
Posted February 2, 2026
Families exploring their options through open enrollment are encouraged to consider the Plymouth School District, which is just the right size to offer personal attention along with a wealth of opportunities!
About Open Enrollment
Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents/guardians of children in 4-year-old kindergarten through 12th grade to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they reside.
There is no tuition cost to families who opt for open enrollment (though they may be charged the same fees as resident students). However, families are responsible for transportation to and from school.
There is unlimited availability in all grade levels for regular education students to open enroll into the Plymouth School District for the 2026-27 school year.

Those who apply before May 1 should receive notification by June 1. Families must return the Intent to Attend Letter to the District Office before registering for the 2026-27 school year in August.
