Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is offering an Around Our Town tour of Kurtz Ersa this month, as well as new pickleball and wellness opportunities!
Pickleball Tournament – NEW!
Join us for a spirited pickleball tournament featuring doubles play across intermediate & advanced skill levels. Compete for bragging rights while enjoying a day of friendly competition and camaraderie. This tournament is perfect for players looking to test their skills and meet fellow pickleball enthusiasts. Limit of 8 teams at each level.

Mind & Body Recharge: Brain + Immune Boost - NEW!
Discover how to boost your best thinking and doing through simple, science-backed strategies. In this interactive class, you’ll explore brain-boosting exercises and learn how to choose the most nourishing foods for cognitive health and overall well-being. You’ll also craft your own personalized action plan for lasting success. Bring one healthy food item you enjoy (one piece or 1/2 cup in a bag). Come ready to sample delicious, nutrient-dense foods — arrive curious and hungry, and leave empowered with practical tools to live your best life.

Around Our Town: Kurtz Ersa Inc.
Community members ages 18+ are invited to join this “field trips for adults” and take a tour of the Plymouth location of Kurtz Ersa Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kurtz GmbH & Co. KG, a globally active technology group. Kurtz was founded in Germany in 1779 with the main operation of blacksmithing using a water propelled forge hammer for the shaping of metal (i.e. bell clappers and farming tools). Today, Kurtz Ersa produces and sells foaming and casting machines as well as soldering systems and tools for the electronics industry.

Yoga Nidra - NEW
A guided meditation practice that takes you into a state between wakefulness and sleep. Unlike typical meditation, Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down, allowing the body to fully relax while the mind remains conscious and aware. Thai ancient practice, accessible to all levels of practitioners, promotes deep relaxation and rest. Bring: blankets or pillows to make yourself more comfortable.

How do I register?
- Online: If possible, please register online via MyRec, which carries no service fee and offers immediate confirmation. (You first will need to create a MyRec account, if you have not already done so; once we verify residency and approve the account, you can register for any of our offerings going forward.)
- In person: You can register in our office, where we will help set up your MyRec account and can accept cash, check, and credit cards. Park in the visitor lot in front of Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave., and enter Door 18 on the south end of the building. Our office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
- By mail: While MyRec registration is preferred, you still can print a registration form to mail with a check to Community Ed & Rec, 125 S. Highland Ave., Plymouth WI 53073.
