Middle-school students invited to wrestle ∧ play basketball

Area middle-school students are invited to join the Riverview Middle School basketball and wrestling teams!
Teams represent Riverview in competitions with area schools, but these opportunities are coordinated by Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation and are open to all area middle-school students, including those who are homeschooled or attending parochial schools.
Boys Basketball
Open to: boys in grades 7-8
Info Meeting: 2:45pm Wednesday Oct. 22 in Riverview Room 314 (for all 7th-graders and new 8th-grades players and/or parents)
Register: via MyRec by Nov. 2
First practice: 3:30-4:45pm Monday Nov. 3 in the Riverview Gym
Games: Nov. 11-Dec. 15
Coaches: Tyler Gruett and Richard Grohman for 7th grade, Phil Harder and Andrew Harder for 8th grade

Girls Basketball
Open to: girls in grades 7-8

Registration
Students must be registered before they can participate, via the MyRec registration system. (Parents/guardians will need to create a MyRec account, if they do not already have one.) In addition, all participants must have a Physical Evaluation Form on file that was signed by a doctor based on an examination done no earlier than April 1, 2024. Fee is $30 per sport.
