About Nationals

Career Development Events allow participating FFA members in grades 7 to 12 to develop critical thinking skills and effective decision-making skills, foster teamwork, and promote communication while recognizing the value of ethical competition and individual achievement. All three Plymouth teams advanced from regional competition held March 31 and from the State CDE Contest held April 27.

Also at the National Convention, PHS graduates Dallas Kreisa and Hannah Schultz were awarded the American Degree, the highest award the FFA can bestow upon its members, earned by less than 1 percent of the 850,000 FFA members.

Plymouth FFA sent a total of 16 members to the convention, where they had the opportunity to network with a variety of industry professionals and colleges, hear from keynote speakers, and participate in tours and general sessions.
