Plymouth High School students earned recognition in 50 events at the Wisconsin School Music Association-sanctioned State Solo & Ensemble Music Festival held April 29 at UW-Milwaukee.
PHS received six Exemplary Performance nominations – the most of any school – which judges can give to the best performances they hear throughout the day. At the end of the day, each judge selects up to two events to receive an Exemplary Performance Award, and three PHS events received this top distinction:
- Laura Henze and Julianna Pohl's duet "Yo Le Canto Todo El Dia"
- Laura Henze's classical solo "Black Swan"
- Max Halle's classical solo "Vittoria"
