PHS hosting World Cultures Fair for community

Posted April 17, 2023

Plymouth High School invites the community to experience global crafts, languages, and music right here in Plymouth during its upcoming World Cultures Fair.

The FREE event, sponsored by the PHS World Languages Department, will feature cultural crafts, a global craft market, language lessons, and a musical performance. It will run from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday April 30 at Generations, 1500 Douglas Drive.

The event is open to all ages and is a wonderful showcase of the languages offered at PHS as well as its exchange program. Exchange students and PHS language students will give mini lessons for attendees to sample their beautiful languages. Students also will lead cultural craft demonstrations for participants to replicate at home.

The Sheboygan African Drum Group will provide a fabulous finish to the event with heart-thumping rhythms from 2 to 3 p.m.
