PHS Boys Basketball to honor military

The Plymouth High School Boys Basketball team will host its annual Military Appreciation Night on Friday Feb. 6.

All U.S. Armed Forces active members and veterans will receive free admission to the games against West Bend East, as well as complimentary popcorn and a bottle of water. Those who sign in at the welcome table when they arrive will be recognized during halftime of the Varsity game. The National Guard will have fun activities for youths.

The PHS Boys Basketball Booster Club will donate its portion of the 50/50 raffle to Camp Hometown Heroes, a local organization taking care of the children of service members who have been killed in action.

Schedule of events

  • 5:30 p.m.: JV tipoff; National Guard activities for youth begin
  • 7 p.m.: Color Guard and National Anthem, followed by Varsity tipoff
  • 7:30 p.m. (approximately): Recognition of those active military and veterans who registered at the welcome table
