Congratulations to the 10 Plymouth High School students whose works are included in the 2023 issue of the Perspectives all-conference literary magazine!

Students at any East Central Conference school can submit any form of creative writing to their English Department teachers, who review the work and select pieces worthy of publication.

ECC members Berlin, Campbellsport, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Kewaskum, Plymouth, Ripon, Waupun, and Winneconne take turns hosting an annual recognition event. This year’s celebration, held April 19 in Winneconne, featured a banquet, a mini-writing session, and readings.

Culinary team at LTC competition

Congratulations to the Plymouth High School culinary arts students who brought home two awards from a recent Lakeshore Technical College competition!

The team of Emmett Lerwick, Addie Riemer, and Anneliese Huss won the sandwich competition with its Prosciutto Chicken Salad Tea Sandwich. Neela Shepard won the cupcake competition with Strawberry My Jam cupcakes.

Danika Picard and Jacklyn Lensmire also participated in the event, held April 12 at LTC. Students from Plymouth, Sheboygan South, and Valders high schools showcased their skills in four categories: entrée, baking and pastry, knife skills, and garde manger, plus the cupcake competition.
