‘Knives Out’ is next Free Film

Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is showing “Knives Out” as the next Free Film.

This PG-13 film from 2019 follows master detective Benoit Blanc as he investigates the death of the patriarch of a wealthy, dysfunctional family. The ensemble cast includes Daniel Craig as Blanc, with Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell, and Christopher Plummer.

“Knives Out” will begin at 6 p.m. Monday April 17 in the auditorium at Plymouth High School (enter Door 1), 125 S. Highland Ave.

Admission is free, but please register by Friday April 14 so Community Ed & Rec knows there is enough interest to show the film. You can register online via MyRec, by emailing commedrec@plymouth.k12.wi.us, or by calling 920-892-5068.

Mark your calendar: The final spring Free Film will be “The Fabelmans” at 6 p.m. Monday May 22 in the PHS Auditorium. This PG-13 film tells the story of young Sammy Fabelman, who is growing up in post-World War II era Arizona and aspires to become a filmmaker as he reaches adolescence, but soon discovers a shattering family secret and explores how the power of films can help him see the truth.
