K-4 wrestling begins soon
Young students are invited to participate in Plymouth Area Wrestling, where they can learn to wrestle while developing a love for the sport.
PAW is open to all area students in kindergarten through fourth grade, including those who are homeschooled or attending parochial schools.
An informational meeting for parents will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday Oct. 29 in the library at Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave.
PAW participants will practice from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays from Nov. 16 to Feb. 25 (except Nov. 26; Dec. 24, 28, 31; Jan. 18) in the PHS Wrestling Room (enter Door 18).
Students need to be registered by Nov. 13 via the MyRec online registration system. (Parents/guardians will need to create a MyRec account, if they do not already have one.) Fee is $30; proceeds benefit PHS Wrestling.
