Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is offering a variety of wellness opportunities this autumn!

Refuse To Be a Victim 

Learn basic principles for crime prevention and personal safety. For ages 13+
Instructor: Darla Neargarth 
Details: 6-8:30pm Mondays Oct. 5 & 12 in the PHS Library 
Fee: $39 through Sept. 28, then $49; spouse or teen can attend for free as a BOGO! 

Understanding Pelvic Floor Health - NEW

Join us for an educational workshop designed to help women better understand their pelvic floor and the important role it plays throughout every stage of life. Learn how pelvic floor health impacts bladder and bowel function, core stability, sexual health, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, menopause, and overall well-being. We’ll break down what's normal, what’s not, and the common symptoms women are often told they simply have to “live with.” You’ll leave with practical strategies to support a strong, healthy, and functional pelvic floor for years to come.
Instructor: Miki Eaton WHNP-BC, Certified Pelvic Health Clinician, Menopause Society Certified Practitioner

Fee: $5 (to be donated to Mental Health America); register by Sept. 29

SHiNE Dance Fitness

This dance fitness workout utilizes current hit music and choreography to help participants feel confident and strong. High-cardio exercise combines jazz, ballet, and hip hop moves with calisthenics in a HIIT format for a full-body workout.

Details: 3:45-4:30pm Wednesdays Oct. 14-Dec. 16 in the Riverview Cafeteria
Fee: Free, thanks to a partnership with Sartori! No need to register; just show up ready to dance!

3C’s: Collagen, Cortisol, and Creatine - NEW

Learn what they are, what they do, how to affect them with diet and exercise, and what supplement options are valid.
Instructor: Dr. Dan Francis of Francis Chiropractic
Details: 6-7pm Wednesday Oct. 21 in PHS Amphitheater
Fee: Please bring toiletries or hair accessories to donate to Panther ’Fits Closet; register by Oct. 14

Herbs for the Health of the Skin - NEW

Learn about how herbs can be incorporated into infused oils, salves, lotions, compresses, and poultices.

Details: 6-8:30pm Thursday Oct. 22 in the PHS Food Science & Ag Center
Fee: $71 through Oct. 15, then $81

Herbal Gift Making Extravaganza

Create 8+ herbal preparations that you can gift to loved ones over the holidays.

Details: 1-5pm Saturday Nov. 21 in the PHS Food Science & Ag Center
Fee: $71 through Nov. 12, then $81

How do I register?

  • Online: If possible, please register online via MyRec. (You first will need to create a MyRec account, if you have not already done so; once we verify residency and approve the account, you can register for any of our offerings going forward.) You can pay online with a credit card, but please note that our processor charges a 3% fee; you can avoid the fee by selecting “Print a Pre-registration form” for your Checkout Method and then either mailing or bringing payment to our office. Your spot is not secured until we receive payment.
  • In person: You can register in our office, where we will help set up your MyRec account and can accept cash, check, and credit cards. Park in the visitor lot in front of Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave., and enter Door 18 on the south end of the building. Our office is open 8am-4pm weekdays (closing at noon Fridays from June 12 through Aug. 21).
  • By mail: While MyRec registration is preferred, you still can print a registration form to mail with a check to Community Ed & Rec, 125 S. Highland Ave., Plymouth WI 53073.
