Time to register for school-year childcare

Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation offers childcare for elementary students onsite at the schools.
Options
Two age-appropriate programs are available at the elementary schools:
- Berry Branch: For children in 4K or 5K
- Extra Mile: For children in grades 1-4
Details
Hours:
- Before school: 6-8:45am
- After school: 3:45-6pm
Fees:
- Registration: $75/child (not refundable)
- Berry Branch: $5.75/hour
- Extra Mile: $5.25/hour
How do I register?
- Existing childcare members: Log into MyRec, visit the Child Care section , choose Fall/School Year ONLY Childcare Registration, and register each child for 2026-27 Child Care in Berry Branch or Extra Mile, as appropriate.
- New childcare families:
- Visit the Child Care section of MyRec and follow the steps below:
- Log into MyRec; if you do not have a MyRec account, create an account for your household and add your children as members. Once we approve your account, you can proceed with registration.
- Register each child for 2026-27 Child Care in Berry Branch or Extra Mile, as appropriate.
- Sign up for a Berry Branch or Extra Mile membership when prompted; this generates the scan code you will need going forward.
