Not too late to enroll for 4K

Children who will begin 4-year-old kindergarten this fall in the Plymouth School District should enroll as soon as possible.

Anyone who will be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 is eligible for 4K. There is no tuition fee, though families will owe a $40 registration fee in August.

4K features play-based learning in a classroom setting. The nurturing environment is designed to foster independence, encourage creativity, provide for social growth, and promote new learning.

4K options

The nature-based Montessori program has filled, but we are accepting students for elementary school classrooms.

New this year is full-day 4K, which will meet from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. five days a week, the same as other elementary students.

Parents also can choose a traditional half-day program from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m., when the focus will be on academics. Please note that families are responsible for pickup after 4K, as there is no mid-day busing.

Berry Branch childcare, operated by Community Education & Recreation, will be available on site from 6 to 8:45 a.m. and from 3:45 to 6 p.m. on school days, as well as from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on most no-school days, including summer break. The hourly rate is $5.75, with a $75 registration fee.

4K enrollment

  • Families that already have a Skyward Family Access account with the Plymouth School District (i.e. for an older child) should log into Skyward Family Access and select "New Student Enrollment" from the menu on the left.
  • Families new to the district should begin by requesting enrollment access. Additional instructions can be found on our Enrollment & Registration webpage.
  • Families without access to the internet should contact the District Office at (920) 892-2661 Ext. 1007 or visit the office on the south end (Door 18) of Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays (closing at noon Friday July 31).
