Schools seeking teachers, subs, aides, childcare help, cooks, coaches, & bus drivers

Parents, grandparents, and others seeking employment that follows the school calendar are encouraged to consider opportunities available through the Plymouth School District and Johnson School Bus.
Faculty positions
We currently have openings for:- Alternative Education Teacher at Plymouth High School
- Special Education Teacher at Riverview Middle School
- Special Education Teacher at Fairview Elementary School

Interested in becoming a special education teacher, but your bachelor’s degree isn’t in education? We can help! Contact the district office at 920-892-2661 for information on our Special Education Career Path Opportunity, which provides training, mentorship, and professional support as you pursue Wisconsin special education licensure.
Substitute teachers
Substitutes, who fill in as needed for absent teachers, need an associate’s degree and a Substitute Teacher License.

Educational assistants
Aides, who assist in classrooms and help in various other ways, need to be at least 18 years old. We currently have openings for:

Other support staff
Candidates need to be at least 18 years old, and should have relevant experience. We currently have openings for:
- Secretary at Riverview Middle School
- Secretary at Plymouth High School
- Network and Computer Technician
- Custodian II - 2nd Shift at Riverview Middle School

Food Service
Server/Cooks, who perform duties related to all phases of food preparation, need to be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Candidates also must be able to stand for 4-6 hours and lift an occasional 40 pounds. Food service experience preferred but not required. Substitute positions also available.

Coaches, advisors, etc.
We currently are seeking adults to fill a variety of extracurricular roles, including:
- Riverview Middle School Volleyball Coach
- Plymouth High School Forensics Head Coach and Assistant Coach
- Plymouth High School Girls JV Basketball Coach

Child-care providers
Community Education & Recreation seeks adults with child-care experience for its three child-care programs, which provide for children as young as 6 weeks old through fourth grade.
How to apply: Complete a District Employment Application and return it to the Community Ed & Rec Office, open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays (closing at noon Fridays through Aug. 21) on the south end of Plymouth High School (enter Door 18).
Bus drivers
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a Wisconsin driver’s license and have a safe driving record. No experience is necessary; Johnson Bus can provide training and reimbursement for a commercial driver’s license. Morning, noon, and afternoon route options are available, as are extracurricular trips and outside charters.

Want to give it a try?Johnson School Bus is hosting a Drive the Bus Event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday Aug. 7 at their Plymouth terminal, 808 Valley Road. Participants can test drive a bus, enjoy free hot dogs, and meet Tonka the bulldog.
*The District Office, located on the south end of Plymouth High School (enter Door 18), is open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closing at noon Friday July 31).
