Fun summer opportunities still available!

Summer School has begun, but the Plymouth School District has numerous upcoming activities to keep students moving, exploring, and growing!
Youth athletic camps
Camps are open to all area students in the appropriate grades, including those who are homeschooled or attending parochial schools.
Camps will be held at Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave. Registration is coordinated by Community Education & Recreation and handled online via MyRec, but these camps are operated by their respective PHS programs.
Football Camp
Participants will have fun learning the basics of football through skills and drills run by PHS varsity coaching staff, as well as playing games and interacting with current high school players.
Open to: Those who recently completed grades 4-7
Details: 12:30-3pm Monday July 13 through Wednesday July 15
Fee: $45

Volleyball Camp
PHS coaches and local collegiate athletes will conduct the camp.
Open to: All students who recently completed grades 2-7, plus girls who completed grades 8-11
Details: 12-1:30pm (grades 2-4); 1:45-3:45pm (grades 5-7); 4-6pm (grades 8-11) July 14-16 in the PHS gym
Fee: $65

Community Ed & Rec offerings
Community Education & Recreation is offering a pair of activities for families later this summer! Register online via MyRec.
Friday Playgroup
For all ages! Join other parents and children this summer at this parent-supervised free play at Plymouth parks.
Details: 9:30-11am 1st & 3rd Fridays July 17, August 7, and August 21
-July 17: City Park, 203 Suhrke Road
-August 7: Lone Oak Park, 2245 Valley Road
-August 21: Meyer Park, 300 Daleview Drive with Habitat Hike (see below)
Fee: Free, but please pre-register so we know to expect you and can let you know if we have to cancel.
Habitat Hike - Trees!
For all ages! We will learn to identify many common trees based on their unique features. Afterwards, we will look for the many different varieties of trees growing there while on a short hike. End with unstructured play at the playground. Held in conjunction with Friday Playgroup.
Instructors: Laura & Katie, Conservation Specialists with the Sheboygan County Planning & Conservation Department

Free meals
Food Service is offering free breakfast and lunch to children ages 18 and younger again this summer. Please note that children do not need to be enrolled in Summer School or any other summer program to participate.
On-site meals:
- Meals will be available Monday through Thursday through July 16:
- Breakfast: 7:45-8:45am
- Lunch: 11am-noon
- Meals will be served in the Plymouth High School Cafeteria, 125 S. Highland Ave. Children not attending Summer School should enter through Door 1G (PHS Office entrance).
- All meals must be consumed at school due to USDA regulations.
Weekend meal packages:
- Families can call 920-892-2661, Ext 1083 to order weekend meals to take home.
- Drive-through pick-up will be available 11am-1pm every Thursday through July 16 in front of PHS.
- Children must be present for the first pick-up only.
