Panthers in the Playoffs

Plymouth High School athletic teams competed in the spring Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association tournaments, earning State medals in Boys Tennis doubles and the Boys 4x800 Relay and a regional title in Girls Soccer!

Boys Tennis

The doubles team of Gianni Frausto & Cavin Baltus finished second at the Division 2 State Individual Meet held June 4-6 in Madison!

Earlier, the Panthers took third as a team at subsectionals hosted by Sheboygan Falls on May 26. Gianni & Cavin took first at sectionals May 28 in Kohler.

Track & Field

Plymouth sent two events to the Division 2 State Tournament held June 5-6 in La Crosse!

  • Boys 4x800 Meter Relay: Plymouth team of Kade Burdick, Hunter Nelson, Brennan Nickel, Gavin Hones finished 6th with 8:07.44
  • Boys Discus Throw: Arjen Anderson finished 8th with 150-04; Nate Helsell 15th with 127-10

Earlier, Plymouth took 3rd for both girls and boys at regionals held May 26 in Grafton. The boys took 7th as a team and the girls 16th at sectionals May 29 in Kewaskum.

Girls Soccer

The Panthers won the Glacier Trails Conference and WIAA Regional titles! No. 5-seeded Plymouth defeated 12th-seeded Wauwatosa West 1-0 in a regional June 2 and 4th-seeded Nicolet 4-1 in the regional final June 6, but lost to No. 1-seeded Brookfield Central 3-0 in a sectional June 11.

Boys Golf

Plymouth took 4th as a team at the regional it hosted May 26 at Quit Qui Oc Golf Course, and 6th as a team at sectionals June 3 in Fond du Lac.

Baseball

No. 7-seeded Plymouth defeated 10th-seeded Sheboygan South 4-1 in a regional May 28, then lost to 2nd-seeded Waupun on June 2.

Softball

No. 3-seeded Plymouth had a bye for the first round of regionals May 21, then lost to 6th-seeded Winneconne 11-0 on May 26.
