This year’s Union Cemetery Walk will be held Sunday May 17.
Cemetery Walk to feature PHS drama students
Posted May 11, 2026
Plymouth High School students again will participate in the Union Cemetery Walk presented by the Plymouth Historical Society.
Drama students in period clothing will share information drawn from historical society research about the lives of people who once called Plymouth home.
This year’s event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday May 17 and is open to the public. Admission is free, though donations for the Union Cemetery Gravestone Cleaning Fund are appreciated.
Brochures will be available at the Division Street entrance, north of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Attendees can walk through the cemetery at their leisure; the tour will take about an hour to complete.
The Sheboygan County Historical Research Center will demonstrate monument cleaning during the event.
Union Cemetery was established Nov. 27, 1854, though the first burial occurred in 1852. Many early Plymouth settlers repose in this tranquil 4-acre parcel two blocks north of downtown.
