This year marks the 50th anniversary of the graduation of the Plymouth High School Class of 1975. Here is a look back at their senior year!
Homecoming
Homecoming 1974 featured:
- Hallway and window decorating
- Pep rally with skits and crowning of the King and Queen in the Auditorium on Friday
- Parade featuring student-built floats through downtown
- Football loss to Luxemberg-Casco on Saturday
- Dance on Saturday evening
Sports
Interscholastic sports for boys included:
- Baseball
- Basketball
- Cross Country
- Football
- Golf
- Swimming
- Tennis
- Track & Field
- Wrestling
Interscholastic sports for girls included:
- Basketball
- Girls Tennis (new this year)
- Track & Field
- Volleyball
Girls also could be part of the Girls Athletic Association, which offered gymnastics in the fall, bowling and basketball in the winter, and baseball in the spring.
The arts
Performing opportunities included:
- Panther Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band
- Swing Choir
- One-act play “Feiffer’s People” in the fall
- All-school play “The Miser” by Moliere in November
- Christmas Festival in December, featuring PHS Panther and Concert bands
- Cabaret in February
Extracurriculars
