Looking back at PHS in 2015

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the graduation of the Plymouth High School Class of 2015. Here is a look back at their senior year!

Homecoming

Homecoming Week 2014 had an “Ancient Greece” theme and featured:

  • Boys’ volleyball tournament and girls’ powder puff football games
  • Tug-of-war competition throughout the week
  • Dress-up days, including pajama day
  • Alumni Hall of Fame induction, Homecoming Court presentation, and pep rally Friday afternoon
  • Parade through downtown Friday afternoon
  • Football 49-7 victory over Campbellsport on Friday evening
  • Homecoming Dance on Saturday

The arts

Performing opportunities included:

  • Fall play “Robin Hood: The Courtship of Allan A’Dale”
  • One act “The American Dream: The American Car”
  • Spring musical “All Shook Up”
  • Amp Rats drama class
  • Jolly Pranksters comedy team
  • Jazz Band 1, Jazz Band 2, German Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble
  • Bel Canto, Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir, Momentum Show Choir, Concert Choir
  • Solo & Ensemble music festivals

Other highlights

  • PHS students traveled to Costa Rica in the summer of 2014, and welcomed a contingent from German.
  • PHS hosted 11 exchange students from Chile, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, and Turkey for the year.
