PHS head volleyball coach
Mr. Jurney has been a social studies teacher at Plymouth High School since January 2023.
Playing experience: In high school I played volleyball, basketball, and golf. From there I went on to play collegiate volleyball at Marian University in Fond du Lac.
Coaching experience: I have been coaching volleyball for the last 8-9 years at all different age levels. I started my high school coaching experience at St. Mary's Spring Academy in Fond du Lac. From there I got my first varsity job at Campbellsport High, and now I am stoked to have the opportunity to take over as head coach here at PHS. I am also the men's assistant coach at Lakeland University.
Other relevant experience: I recently broadened my coaching ability and coached AAU Basketball this summer for Plymouth Elite.
Anything else you'd like people to know: My girlfriend and I are new to the area, and have enjoyed our experience thus far. This volleyball season is something I have been looking forward to all summer, and cannot wait to get the ball rolling.
