What will you miss most? Seeing a frown turned upside down from someone having a rough day. THE STUDENTS!
Plans for retirement: Start fishing again, golf, see Alaska, walk on a glacier, visit as many national parks as possible, eat lobster in Maine, spending time with grandkids and my wife.

Roy Schwab

Gifted and Talented Coordinator at the elementary and high school levels; district Health & Wellness Coordinator
Years with the Plymouth School District: 8
Career: Following my retirement from teaching in Sheboygan Falls for 23 years in June of 2016, I started at PJSD the fall of 2016, long term subbing at Fairview. In March of 2018, I "unretired" and started my full-time position as Gifted and Talented Coordinator for elementary and high school. I have held that position for the past 6 and 1/4 years. I also joined the Health and Wellness Team in 2017, and have been the PJSD Health and Wellness Coordinator for the past 5 years.  I taught a 1st-2nd grade loop class for 15 years and an elementary multi-age class for 8 years at Sheboygan Falls Elementary, as well as directed the high school musicals for a number of years. Starting in 2003, I have taught a variety of graduate and master’s degree courses for UW-Green Bay, Marian University, and Viterbo University as an adjunct professor. Prior to my teaching career, I used my animal science degree to work in genetics for 6 years.
What will you miss most? I will miss the daily interactions with the amazing students and staff at PJSD!
Plans for retirement: I plan to spend lots of time with my grandson and family. I plan to travel and will continue my work as an announcer at national level horse shows across the country. I will also continue singing/performing around the area with Celtic Folk. I live just a few miles south of PHS and will always be a Panther! I hope to still help out at PHS from time to time!
