PHS Boys Basketball to honor military

The Plymouth High School Boys Basketball team will host its annual Military Appreciation Night on Friday Feb. 2.

Active-duty and veteran U.S. Armed Forces members will receive free admission to the games, as well as complimentary popcorn and a bottle of water. The National Guard will have fun activities for youths.

The PHS Boys Basketball Booster Club will donate its portion of the 50/50 raffle to Camp Hometown Heroes, a local organization taking care of the children of service members who have been killed in action.

Schedule of events

  • 5:45 p.m.: JV tipoff plus National Guard activities for youth
  • 6:45 p.m.: Color Guard and National Anthem plus National Guard activities for youth
  • 7 p.m.: Varsity tipoff
  • 8 p.m. (approximately): Recognition of active military and veterans who sign in during varsity halftime
