Riverview Middle School is hosting a new free family event called Deck the Halls!
Deck the Halls will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday Dec. 7 at Riverview, 300 Riverside Circle. The event is open to the public, with a suggested cost of admission of one canned good per person.
Attendees can enjoy:
• Christmas Tree Trail – more than 35 themed trees decorated by staff and students!
• Live performances by the Riverview Dance Team and the Riverview Merry Makers Choir
• Cookies baked by Riverview Cooking Club
• Reindeer Games hosted by Riverview Student Council
• Scholastic Book Fair in the Riverview Library
• Voting for their favorite North Pole Display imagined by seventh-graders
• Make-and-take cards and crafts with Riverview staff
• Hot cocoa with Riverview Association of Parents & Teachers
• Raffle prizes donated by staff, students and area businesses
Raffle tickets are earned through participation at the event, with additional raffle tickets available for a nominal cost. All proceeds will benefit Riverview families during the holidays.
