Plymouth took 8th as a team at the Division 2 sectional it hosted Nov. 3-4. Competing for the Panthers were:
• 1-Meter Diving: Lauren Cantwell 2nd with 348.85*; Jacklyn Lensmire 4th with 289.05
• 400-Yard Freestyle Relay: Plymouth team of Zada Sinclair, Adella Gritt, Cadence Seymour, Claudia Purvis 5th with 4:07.34
• 200-Yard Freestyle Relay: Plymouth team of Helena Erdly, Cadence Seymour, Adella Gritt, Claudia Purvis 7th with 1:52.09
• 200-Yard IM: Claudia Purvis 9th with 2:30.99; Greta Jarr 21st with 3:04.78
• 200-Yard Medley Relay: Plymouth team of Lotta Vissers, Annie Kleiber, Grace Erdly, Adella Gritt 10th with 2:14.17
• 100-Yard Butterfly: Claudia Purvis 11th with 1:13.78; Addie LaCount 17th with 1:23.76; Grace Erdly 21st with 1:29.10
• 50-Yard Freestyle: Adella Gritt 12th with 28.17; Lotta Vissers 15th with 28.95; Helena Erdly 16th with 29.08; Zada Sinclair 18th with 29.59
• 200-Yard Freestyle: Cadence Seymour 15th with 2:21.07; Celia Struve 20th with 2:28.61
• 100-Yard Freestyle: Cadence Seymour 16th with 1:02.54; Zada Sinclair 24th with 1:07.00
• 100-Yard Breaststroke: Annie Kleiber 16th with 1:25.54
• 500-Yard Freestyle: Celia Struve 18th with 6:42.72
• 100-Yard Backstroke: Adyson Olig 19th with 1:22.19
*Advances to the 2023 State Championships set for 1:30 p.m. Friday Nov. 10 at the Waukesha South Natatorium.
Plymouth advanced to the 2023 Division 3 State Tournament and defeated Somerset 5-0 on Nov. 2, then lost to Belleville/New Glarus 4-1 on Nov. 4 to become State Runner-Up.
Earlier, the 2nd-seeded Panthers had a bye for the first round of regionals Oct. 17, then defeated 15th-seeded Winneconne 11-0 on Oct. 19 and 10th-seeded Waupun 3-0 on Oct. 21 to become regional champion. The Panthers defeated 6th-seeded Kewaskum 2-1 in a sectional semifinal Oct. 26, then upset 1st-seeded Notre Dame 1-0 in the sectional final Oct. 28 to become sectional champion.
Plymouth girls took 12th as a team at the 2023 Division 2 State Championships on Oct. 28 in Wisconsin Rapids (State results).
The 2nd-seeded Panthers lost a Division 3 Level 1 playoff game to 7th-seeded Menasha 31-8 on Oct. 20.
The 12th-seeded Panthers lost a Division 2 regional to 5th-seeded Grafton on Oct. 17 (25-18, 25-9, 25-16).
Plymouth finished 7th at the Division 1 regional it hosted Sept. 27 at Quit Qui Oc (regional results).
The Panthers participated in the Division 1 subsectional Oct. 2 at Homestead (subsectional results).
