This year marks the 25th anniversary of the graduation of the Plymouth High School Class of 1998. Here is a look back at their senior year!
Homecoming
Homecoming Week 1997 had a “Back in Time” theme and featured:
- Hall decorating on Sunday
- Girls’ powder puff football games
- Lunchroom activities, including three-legged races, ring toss, apple bob, and wheel-barrow races
- A penny war
- Tug-of-war competition
- Homecoming Court Crowning on Friday afternoon
- Parade through downtown, with a float-building competition
- Football loss to Sheboygan Falls on Friday
The arts
Performing opportunities included:
- Fall play “You Can’t Take It With You”
- One-act play “Once in the Time of Trolls” (All-State Award)
- Cabaret choir performances in February
- Spring musical “The Music Man”
- Symphonic Band, Concert Band, German Band, Jazz Band, Jazz II Band, Wind Ensemble
- Mixed Chorus, Womens Chorus, Freshman Chorus, Swing Choir
Sports
Conference champions were:
- Boys Basketball (also regional champ)
- Girls Basketball (also regional champ)
