The Plymouth High School basketball teams are sponsoring camps for younger students this October!
Both camps will run on Monday evenings Oct. 9, 16, and 23. Fee for either camp is $18, with registration due Oct. 8.
PHS coaches and players will teach game fundamentals to girls in grades 4 through 8 using drills and game play. Grades 4 through 6 will meet from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and grades 7 and 8 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. in the gym at Fairview Elementary School, 300 Salem Drive.
PHS coaches and players will teach boys in grades 3 through 8 about shooting, ball-handling, and passing, emphasizing skill development with team play. Grades 3 through 5 will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and grades 6 through 8 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the gym at Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave.
Camp registration is handled by Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation, but proceeds benefit the respective team booster clubs. Register via the MyRec registration system; parents/guardians will need to create a MyRec account, if they have not already done so, and wait for approval before they can register.
