Grades 5-8 invited to join after-school Youth Center

Posted August 21, 2023

Area middle-school students can sign up now for 2023-24 memberships to the Plymouth Youth Center.

Located next to Riverview, the Youth Center is open after school until 5 p.m., with at least one adult present at all times. An enrichment program is available, including simple snacks, relaxation, recreation, team building, and crafts. These activities are optional, and the Youth Center also is a safe place to simply hang out with friends.

The Youth Center is open to all students in grades 5-8 who attend Riverview Middle School and/or live in the Plymouth School District, including those who are homeschooled or attending parochial schools.

Students must be registered via the MyRec registration system  before they can come to the Youth Center. (Parents/guardians will need to create a MyRec account, if they do not already have one.) The membership fee is $60 per year, $30 per trimester, or $15 per month.

See for yourself! The Youth Center will have an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 29, in conjunction with Riverview Sneak Peek.
