Parent-teacher organizations
We are so grateful to our parent-teacher organizations and those who support them for their help with field trips and other learning opportunities!
In the past year, our students have benefitted from at least $40,575 in donations raised by parent-teacher organizations:
- $19,974 from Parkview PTK for new playground equipment at Parkview Elementary School
- $7,278 from the Riverview Association of Parents and Teachers for field trips to Ledgeview Nature Center, Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, Bay Beach Amusement Park (transportation only), Lakeshore Lanes, and Discovery World Museum
- $3,762 from Parkview PTK for transportation to Rivers Edge Nature Center, Spiekers Pumpkin Farm, Madison, Pioneer Village, Camp Y-Koda, Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, Milwaukee Public Museum, Nourish Farms, Weill Center for Performing Arts, Maywood, Above & Beyond Children’s Museum, Siberian Outpost, Sheboygan Historical Museum, and Otter Moon Farm
- $3,749 from Horizon PATH for transportation to the Plymouth Fire Station, Madison, UW-Green Bay, Spiekers Pumpkin Farm, Camp Y-Koda, Camp Anokijig, Bookworm Gardens, Nourish Farms, Milwaukee County Zoo, Weill Center for Performing Arts, Maywood, Sheboygan Historical Museum, and Mulberry Lane
- $2,817 from Fairview Elementary School PTO for transportation to Spiekers Pumpkin Farm, Little Farmer, Shalom Zoo, Maywood, Weill Center for Performing Arts, Nourish Farms, Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, Camp Y-Koda, Camp Anokijig, and Milwaukee County Zoo
Plymouth Education Foundation
We are thankful for the Plymouth Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created in 1988 to enhance the educational experience of our students.
The foundation provided $1,869 in grants during the 2023-24 school year:
- $500 Mental and Physical Wellness for At Risk Youth mini-grant for PHS alternative education teacher Jason Cole
- $460 Resin Printing mini-grant for PHS art teacher Ryan Krippendorf
- $453 Soft Start Morning Activities mini-grant for Horizon 2nd-grade teacher Kaitlyn Watry
- $240 Horizon Chess Club mini-grant for advisor Celeste Godsey
- $216 Garden Enrichment Experiments mini-grant for Youth Center coordinator Denise Roth
Panther ’Fits Closet
We also appreciate everyone who has contributed to the Panther ’Fits Student Sharing & Career Closet at Plymouth High School!
The Panther ’Fits Closet offers free clothes, shoes, coats, personal hygiene items, school supplies, and other things to help students succeed. Students also are able to request specific items via an online form.
