PHS Girls Soccer sectional champions!

Plymouth High School athletic teams are competing in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament series. You can follow them here!
The Panthers received the No. 1 seed for the Division 3 State Tournament and defeated 4th-seeded Rice Lake 4-0 in a semifinal June 13. The Panthers now face 3rd-seeded Catholic Memorial in the championship game at 1:30 p.m. Saturday June 15 at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee. Tickets are $11 (free admission for children 2 and under) and must be purchased online in advance through GoFan and redeemed on a mobile device. The game will air live on Milwaukee TV station WVTV 24.1 and stream live on its website, my24milwaukee.com.
Earlier, 1st-seeded Plymouth had a bye for the first round of regionals May 28, then defeated 16th-seeded New London 12-0 on May 30 and 9th-seeded Fox Valley Lutheran 12-0 on June 1 to become regional champion. The Panthers then defeated 4th-seeded Sheboygan Falls 6-0 in the sectional semifinal June 6 and 2nd-seeded Notre Dame 2-1 in the sectional final June 8 to become sectional champion!
Plymouth sent its No. 1 doubles team of Owen Plate and Jaren Baltus to the Division 1 State Individual Meet on May 30-June 1 in Madison, where they finished 4th.
Earlier, the Panthers finished 3rd as a team at subsectionals hosted by Oshkosh West on May 21 and 5th as a team at sectionals hosted by Oshkosh North on May 23.
Plymouth sent two athletes to the Division 2 State Tournament on May 31-June 1 in La Crosse:
Earlier, Plymouth boys took 4th as a team and the girls took 6th at regionals held May 20 in Kiel, and the boys took 11th as a team at sectionals held May 23 in Appleton.
The 2nd-seeded Panthers had a bye for the first round of regionals May 16, then defeated 7th-seeded Berlin 11-1 in five innings May 21 and 3rd-seeded Kewaskum 8-4 May 23 to become regional champions. Plymouth lost a sectional to 1st-seeded Waupun 7-1 on May 28.
The 5th-seeded Panthers defeated 12th-seeded Winneconne 4-2 in a regional May 23 and 4th-seeded Chilton 2-0 in a regional May 29, but lost to 1st-seeded Kiel 9-5 May 30 in the regional final.
Plymouth advanced three golfers to sectionals hosted by Homestead on May 29 at North Shore Country Club:
Earlier, Plymouth took 5th as a team at the regional it hosted May 22 at Quit Qui Oc Golf Course.
