Plymouth High School athletic teams competed in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament series. See how well they did!
PHS sent four wrestlers to the Division 2 State Individual Wrestling Tournament on Feb. 22-24 in Madison, where Silas Dailey finished State Runner-Up at 190 pounds!
Earlier, the Panthers took third as a team at regionals held Feb. 10 in Kewaskum and sixth as a team at sectionals held Feb. 17 in Campbellsport.
No. 2-seeded Plymouth had a bye for the first round of Division 2 regionals Feb. 27, then defeated 7th-seeded Menasha 82-67 on March 1 and 6th-seeded Notre Dame 96-88 on March 2 to become regional champion. The Panthers lost to 1st-seeded Ashwaubenon 72-52 in a sectional March 7.
The 9th-seeded Panthers defeated 8th-seeded Port Washington 64-56 on Feb. 20 in the first round of Division 2 regionals, then lost to 1st-seeded Beaver Dam 62-43 on Feb. 23.
The 9th-seeded Red Raiders Hockey co-op team, which includes four players and three managers from PHS, lost a Division 1 regional Feb. 13 to 8th-seeded Ashwaubenon 3-2 in triple overtime.
PHS took 11th at the Division 2 sectional it hosted Feb. 9-10.
