Plymouth School District schools, staff, students, and families have been helping others throughout this holiday season. Here are some examples of their generosity!

Panther ’Fits Student Sharing & Career Closet

Plymouth High School has launched a new effort to help students called the Panther ’Fits Student Sharing & Career Closet!

The “closet,” located in Room B220 near the library, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. during school hours; staff also can admit students outside those hours for private shopping.

The Sharing & Career Closet offers free clothes, shoes, coats, personal hygiene items, school supplies, and other items students need to help them succeed. A student preparing for a job interview can “shop” for appropriate attire, for example, or a student needing cold-weather clothes can pick out a jacket and mittens.

Want to contribute? Contact the PHS Office at 920-893-6911 to set up a time to bring in donations of new and clean, gently used items. Monetary donations are also welcome.

The effort was spearheaded by PHS teachers Megan Hummitzsch and Tracy Heinbuch, retired teacher Kay Tharp, and administrative assistants Denall Moore and Grace Wascher.

The initiative was launched at the high school, but the team has plans to spread it to other district schools in the future.

“We are so thankful for our administration's support,” Mrs. Wascher said. “We're excited for all the community outpouring and all the students who have already benefited from it.”
