Foundation hosting tailgate-themed fundraiser

The Plymouth Education Foundation is hosting a Music & Dinner FUNd-raising event to celebrate 35 years of supporting the Plymouth School District.

The celebration, the first live event hosted by the foundation since 2018, will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday Oct. 21 at Devour restaurant, 1611 Eastern Ave., Plymouth.

Attendees are encouraged to wear nostalgic or new orange/black/gold Panthers spirit wear and will enjoy a delicious tailgate dinner, spirit games, and live music by local band RicTic.

Individuals, businesses, and organizations dedicated to supporting high-quality public education and investing in our students and the future of our community are welcome to attend. Tickets are $100 per person and are available online at https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/PEF.

Funds raised will be used to support:

• Grants impacting 4K-12 students in the areas of academic enrichment, extracurricular activities, professional development, and connecting students with their futures and community.
• Teacher Wish Lists to enhance classroom learning.
• Scholarships for graduating seniors pursuing higher educations at four-year colleges/universities and two-year technical schools.
• Capital expenditures enhancing and modernizing the educational learning environments in all five schools.
