All Riverview students are strongly encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities!
Fifth and Sixth Grades

Chess Club
•
Cross Country - Students in grades 5-8 represent the Hawks in competitions with other area schools during the fall sports season.

Dance Team (sixth only) - Students in grades 6-8 learn routines and support the Hawks boys basketball team.

Intramurals - Students in grades 5-6 participate a variety of games and recreational activities during fall and/or winter sessions.

Intramural Dance - This starter program focused on dance is for grades 5-6.

Intramural Tennis - This starter program focused on tennis is for grades 5-6.

Kindness Club - This group spreads kindness to Riverview students and staff and improves building morale.

LEGO League

Math Club (sixth only) - Students in grades 6-8 improve their math skills and participate in math competitions.

Musical (sixth only) - Students in grades 6-8 can participate in this fall performance.

Riverside Reporters - Students provide morning announcements and TV news programs.

Youth Center - The Youth Center, operated by Community Ed & Rec, offers a safe after-school place for registered students in grades 5-8.

Boys Basketball - Boys in grades 7-8 represent the Hawks in competitions with other area schools during the late fall sports season.

Girls Basketball - Girls in grades 7-8 represent the Hawks in competitions with other area schools during the early winter sports season.
