Special Education Teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Silver Lake College; master’s degree in education from Saint Mary’s University
Previous experience: Substitute teacher 2011-17; long-term substitute Two Rivers LB Clarke Middle School EBD self-contained 2017-19; Cross-Categorical Special Education at Two Rivers LB Clarke 2020-22; Cross-Categorical Special Education Team Lead, District PD Team, SDI Sub-Committee, Sheboygan Falls High School, 2022-25

Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from Cornerstone University; CESA 9: Science Teaching Licensure; graduating from Troy University in Spring 2026 with a Master’s Degree in Environmental and Biological Sciences
Previous experience: 4 years of teaching: School District of La Crosse - 1 year; Fond du Lac High School - 2 years; Forest Hills School (Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution) - 9 mo; also several years of other environmental science-related positions – Department of Natural Resources, county conservation departments, land surveying
Other interests: My wife Hannah Golden is a teacher at Riverview; 1 daughter (2.5 years old), 1 on the way. I love fishing, outdoor recreation, dad "stuff" like mowing the grass.

Maryssa Guenther
Special Education Teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: I earned my degrees in Elementary education and Special education with a minor in Emotional Behavioral Disabilities from UW- Stevens Point Wisconsin in 2022.
Previous experience: 3 years of teaching: I worked at Wisconsin Rapids Area Middle School for the past three years as a 6th-grade special education teacher and co-teaching 6th-grade math. At Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School I was also the assistant and head coach for the girls and boys tennis team for three years. I absolutely loved my time there, but I decided I wanted to be closer to home and came back to the Sheboygan area.
Other interests: I have a lot of hobbies such as being outdoors. I love camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, running, working out, and playing tennis. But I also like to relax and read too. Lastly, I love to travel and experience new cultures and food too.

Educational background: Graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 2008 with a degree in Psychology
Previous experience: 3 years of teaching: In 2016 I took a paraprofessional job at Fairview Elementary in Plymouth. I fell in love with the world of education and went back to school to receive my Special Education License (K-12) through Cesa 6 in 2021. I was a first- and second-grade Special Education Teacher in Sheboygan Falls from 2021-2024. Last year I took two long-term sub positions in Plymouth while finishing up my second licensure at Cesa 6 (Regular Education K-9). I am proud to say that I started my career in Plymouth, live in Plymouth, and both my boys are in the Plymouth School District!
Other interests: During my free time I love to hike and be with my family. I have been married to my husband Grant for 17 years and we have two boys (James is 12 and Evan is 11 years old). I also love to read and take care of my many animals. Our family currently has a Saint Bernard (Rosie), 4 cats and a ball python named Albert.

Previous experience: This is my first year of teaching!
Other interests: I love to paint or anything art-related!

Ms. Chloe Kalk
Third-Grade Teacher at Horizon Elementary School
Educational background: I attended the Plymouth School District from 4K to grade 12. I then attended Concordia University of Wisconsin and graduated in the fall of 2024 with a bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education.
Previous experience: This is the first position I have had as a teacher! I had spent the last semester as a substitute teacher in the district.
Other interests: I like to see family, be outdoors, read, stay active, bake, take part in our community, and much more! I am grateful for the opportunity to teach in our community.

Educational background: UW- Platteville 2023 graduate with Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture Education and minor in Horticulture
Previous experience: 2 years at Campbellsport School District as a middle-school and high-school Agriculture Educator and FFA Advisor
Other interests: Anything outdoor recreational, such as hiking, camping, fishing, trapping, etc. I also love reading, gardening or working with plants, baking, music, and movies/tv shows!

Educational background: Associate's in Science from Kishwaukee College in Malta, Ill., in 2022 before transferring to UW-Madison where I earned my Bachelor’s in Chemistry in 2024. After that, I continued going to school and have since earned a Master's of Curriculum and Instruction for Secondary Education - Science from UW-Madison this summer
Previous experience: This is my first year teaching!
