Community Ed & Rec offers fun for families

Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is kicking off summer with Friday Playgroup, two Parent/Tot Aquatics classes, and a new class called Just a Little Garden for Kids.

Friday Playgroup

For all ages! Join other parents and children this summer at this parent-supervised free play at Plymouth parks.
Details: 9:30-11am 1st & 3rd Fridays June 6-Aug 15 (except July 4)

Just a Little Garden for Kids - NEW!

For current grades 1-6. Create your own personal garden to take home! Participants will decorate a clay pot, then fill it with plants of their choosing (flowers, veggies or herbs), and learn how to care for the plants.

Details: 5:30-6:45pm Tuesday June 10 in the PHS Food Science & Agriculture Center
Fee: $26 through June 2, then $36

Parent/Tot Aquatics

This structured program is designed to establish a comfort level in the water for children ages 6 months-5 years. Adults are in the water with their children, so this class offers a unique opportunity to bond.
Instructor: Beth
Orientation: 6pm Tuesday June 3 in the PHS addition foyer (enter Door 18)
Monday class: 6-6:45pm Mondays June 9-July 21 (except June 30)
Fee: $38/pair through June 9, then $48
Tuesday class: 6-6:45pm Tuesdays June 10-July 22 (except July 1)
Fee: $38/pair through June 9, then $48

How do I register?

  • Online: If possible, please register online via MyRec, which carries no service fee and offers immediate confirmation. (You first will need to create a MyRec account, if you have not already done so; once we verify residency and approve the account, you can register for any of our offerings going forward.)
  • In person: You can register in our office, where we will help set up your MyRec account and can accept cash, check, and credit cards. Park in the visitor lot in front of Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave., and enter Door 18 on the south end of the building. Our office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays (9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays this summer).
  • By mail: While MyRec registration is preferred, you still can print a registration form to mail with a check to Community Ed & Rec, 125 S. Highland Ave., Plymouth WI 53073.
