Boys Tennis

The Panthers took 3rd as a team at sectionals hosted by Kohler on May 29. Gianni Frausto & Cavin Baltus are sectional champions and advance to the Division 2 State Individual Meet on June 5-7 in Madison.

Earlier, the Panthers took 3rd as a team at subsectionals hosted by Sheboygan Falls on May 27. Subsectional results:

  • Gianni Frausto & Cavin Baltus: 1st at 1 Doubles
  • Bechara El Hajj: 2nd at 2 Singles

Baseball

No. 7-seeded Plymouth defeated 10th-seeded North Fond du Lac in the first round of regionals May 29. The Panthers now travel to 2nd-seeded Waupun at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday June 3, with the regional final Wednesday June 4. Sectionals will be June 10 at Waupaca. The Division 2 State Tournament will be June 18-19 at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton.

Boys Golf

The Panthers won the regional they hosted May 28 at Quit Qui Oc Golf Course. Competing for the Panthers were:

  • Tyson Smith: 2nd overall with 78
  • Brennan Helmer: 4th with 81
  • Maximo Troka: tied for 7th with 83
  • Tristan Wettstein: tied for 12th with 86
  • Magnus Blad: tied for 12th with 86

The team advances to sectionals hosted by Grafton at 9 a.m. June 3 at The Bog in Saukville. The Division 2 State Meet will be June 9-10 in Madison.

Softball

No. 4-seeded Plymouth had a bye for the first round of regionals May 22, defeated 5th-seeded Port Washington 7-6 May 27, then lost to 1st-seeded Waupun 12-2 May 29 in the regional final.

Track & Field

Plymouth girls took 2nd and the boys 4th at regionals held May 27 in Kiel. Earning points for the Panthers were:

  • Girls Shot Put: 1st Brianna Ladwig with 33-11.50*; 5th Johanna Hoopman with 30-00.00
  • Boys 1600-Meter Run: 1st Gavin Hones with 4:43.89*; 5th Abe Wieser with 4:52.51
  • Girls 4x100-Meter Relay: 1st Plymouth team of Lincoln Zirbel, Hope Southworth, Avery Stiefvater, & Summer Southworth with 52.38*
  • Boys 100-Meter Dash: 1st Deven Miller with 11.23*
  • Girls 100-Meter Hurdles: 2nd Callynn Strausser with 17.80*; 3rd Haylee Wolfgram with 18.77*
  • Girls 200-Meter Dash: 2nd Aliyah Arnold with 27.86*; 5th Adella Gritt with 28.78; 7th Summer Southworth with 29.27
  • Girls 4x800-Meter Relay: 2nd Plymouth team Ivy Lodl, Ali Hoelzel-Montey, Gretchen Herzog, Claire Poppe, Haylen Odekirk, & Regan Schwartz with 10:41.23*
  • Boys 4x100-Meter Relay: 2nd Plymouth team of Dylan Korthals, Josh Watkins, Dylan Smith, Deven Miller, & Carter Schmitz with 44.16*
  • Girls 4x400-Meter Relay: 2nd Plymouth team of Aliyah Arnold, Ivy Lodl, Adella Gritt, Gretchen Herzog, Claire Poppe, & Ali Hoelzel-Montey with 4:18.17*
  • Boys 4x400-Meter Relay: 2nd Plymouth team of Parker Bersch, Wyatt Herzog, Dustin Humphrey, Joe Jacquat, Brennan Nickel, & Kade Burdick with 3:34.87*

  • Girls Triple Jump: 2nd Aliyah Arnold with 33-10.00*

*Advances to sectionals Friday May 30 in Marinette. The Division 2 State Tournament will be June 6-7 in La Crosse.

Girls Soccer

No. 1- seeded Plymouth, which has a bye for the first round of regionals Tuesday June 3, will host the regional final Saturday June 7 against the winner of the Wauwatosa West/Ashwaubenon game; admission is $6.

Sectionals will be June 12, with Plymouth hosting the sectional final June 14. The Division 2 State Tournament will be June 20-21 at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.
