PHS team advances to Wisconsin Student Chef Competition

Posted May 5, 2025

Congratulations to the Plymouth High School team selected to compete at the state level in the 13th annual Whipping Up Wellness, Wisconsin Student Chef Competition!

Culinary students from around the state were invited to develop a nutritious, student-friendly recipe featuring local foods that can be incorporated easily into the school food service program.

The PHS team of Aryssa Ertman, A'Ziyah Bailey, Rian Schroeder, Andrea Baldwyn, and Sean Harney was named one of five finalists and has been invited to prepare their recipe for Hawaiian Bowl on Thursday May 15 at Madison Area Technical College. Dishes will be judged on taste, student appeal, presentation, and creativity.

PHS has been one of 5 state finalists in the Student Chef Competition every year since its inception in 2012.
