2025-26 host families sought

The Plymouth AFS chapter is looking for families to welcome AFS-USA exchange students next school year!

AFS students come from 80+ countries, many of them on full scholarships, to spend a semester or a school year living with a volunteer host family, attending high school, and becoming part of the local community.

Hosting an AFS-USA exchange student is a great way to learn about a new culture while sharing your own, building a connection to a new family member, bringing the world to your family and community, and having a positive impact on a young person's life.

All types of families are welcome to host, including families with kids of any age, empty nesters, and couples or individuals without kids.

AFS is a nonprofit with more than 75 years of experience in student exchange, and a great network of dedicated local volunteers to support host families and students throughout the exchange experience. More information is available at afsusa.org/host, or reach out to Ann Weeden at adrewryweeden@gmail.com or Patrick Gafney at Patrick.Gafney@gmail.com.
