Posted February 17, 2025

Plymouth School District teacher Marcus Lackovic has been named an Outstanding Educator by WEA Member Benefits in partnership with Wisconsin Athletics!

Mr. Lackovic, who teaches second grade at Fairview Elementary School, accepted his award during a Badger Men’s Hockey game Feb. 7, where he was recognized during a game break. His wife and two sons were able to celebrate his accomplishment with him at the game, and WEA provided 10 free tickets for Fairview staff to surprise him by attending as well.

He is one of 10 Outstanding Educators recognized during the 2024-25 season for exceptional contributions to students and community. The Outstanding Educator program seeks to amplify the voices of those shaping the future of Wisconsin’s students by highlighting educators and support staff who go above and beyond in their roles.
