PHS Dance Team collecting accolades

The Plymouth High School Dance Team has brought home 19 awards so far this season!

The team competed in D4 Pom and D2 Hip Hop at the following:

• Sheboygan Falls competition on Nov. 9: 1st in Varsity Pom, 1st in JV Pom, 1st in JV Hip Hop, 3rd in Varsity Hip Hop
• Little Chute Holiday Invite on Dec. 14: 1st in Varsity Hip Hop, 2nd in JV Hip Hop, 4th in Varsity Pom
• Kiel Winter Invite on Dec. 21: 1st in Varsity Hip Hop, 1st in Varsity Pom, 1st in JV Hip Hop, 2nd in JV Pom. The JV team also received the Good Sportsmanship Award.
• Kaukauna Dance Classic on Jan. 11: 1st in Varsity Hip Hop, 2nd in Varsity Pom, 2nd in JV Hip Hop, 3rd in JV Pom at the. Varsity Hip Hop also won the Choreography Award.
• Junior State Dance Competition on Jan. 18 (JV teams): 2nd in Hip Hop and 5th in JV Pom

Next up is the Regional Dance Championship at DC Everest High School in Schofield on Saturday Jan. 25. From there, Plymouth hopes to advance to the Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches State Dance Championships on Saturday Feb. 1 in La Crosse.
