Parents, grandparents, and other community members are invited to experience the talents of Plymouth School District students at autumn performances.
The following shows are free and open to the public, unless otherwise indicated. Performances are at Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave., or Riverview Middle School, 300 Riverside Circle, as indicated.
7:30pm Monday Oct. 21 in the PHS Auditorium
The school year’s first choral concert will feature American folksongs, vocal jazz, barbershops, and spirituals under the theme “Sounds of America.”
7pm Tuesday Oct. 29 in the Riverview Auditorium
This event is designed to inform the audience about the 6th-Grade Band class and serves as a “show-and-tell” of what students have accomplished so far this year. Students also have the opportunity to teach another individual (such as a family member or close friend) the basic fundamentals of their instrument.
7pm Thursday Nov. 7, Friday Nov. 8, Saturday Nov. 9 & 2pm Sunday, Nov. 10 in the PHS Auditorium
Tickets cost $9 and will be on sale in the PHS Office (enter Door 1G) beginning Oct. 24
Propelled by the mystical energy of the aurora borealis and populated with characters who are humorous, plain-spoken, thoughtful, and sincere, “Almost, Maine” is a series of loosely connected tales about love, each with a compelling couple at its center, each with its own touch of sorcery.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night that they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
7pm Thursday Nov. 21 in Riverview Auditorium
Students, dressed in costumes, will sing songs about Halloween and Thanksgiving and play various instruments.
